Scattered triangle (pattern) main image

This blackwork pattern is made up of a series of small triangles and is unusually free in its nature. The proximity of the triangles governs how dark or how open the pattern is.

Method

1

Use small straight stitches over two or three intersections to build up a small triangle shape.

4

Repeat at random intervals but pointing in the same direction to build up a pattern: stitch close together to produce a dark density and with spaces to produce a lighter appearance.
