Flat half circle sequin rosettes (beadwork)
This stitch shows how to create a semi-circle of beads and sequins. A circlet of beads is worked and then lines of beads ending with a sequin are worked in spokes which radiate from half of the circlet.

Method
Make a circlet and bring the needle up at the 12 o’clock position, immediately above the circlet.
Thread on any combination of beads, then a sequin (cup side up). Take the needle down a distance equal to the lengths of the beads used. Ignore the sequin for the purposes of working this distance out.
Pull the thread through so that the sequin lies flat, then repeat at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions and in between, as shown.
Starting in any of the gaps, bring the needle up near the circlet and pick up a new sequence of beads, a sequin and a bead that matches the colour of your fabric. Take the needle down at the end of the first set of beads.
Pull the thread through. The surface-coloured bead should make the sequin tilt towards the centre of the circlet.
Fill the remaining gaps in the same way to complete the motif.
